A real estate agent is a trained professional that assists homebuyers and sellers through the process of buying and selling homes. Real estate agents must go through a training course as well as keep up with all the licensing required their area to become an agent. Real estate agents in most cases are required to find their own clients and do not get paid a salary only commission.
